Milchbar Cafe in Wyk auf Foehr

I'm here for the 2nd time. Very comfortable sitting outside. Large selection of drinks, waffles and small dishes. Had a waffle, which tasted very good, and a huge currywurst. Also very good. Great drinks with and without alcohol. Eisbrecher (mulled wine with rum) recommended. Very friendly service! It's a shame that they have to close due to Corona.

The Corona measures are not observed in any way. We were shocked that at the moment there are still restaurants that defy the requirements in such a way. No masks, no distance rules, etc. In other cafes there is also exemplary action. Here in the Café Milchbar, however, greed for money and income seem to be more important than people's health. The worst thing, however, is that you don't have to give your personal details anywhere. How is there supposed to be tracing by the health department? The public order office should keep an eye on the café here. As a result of these operators, it is not surprising that all cafes and restaurants have to close again from November. I've been coming to the island for 35 years, but the café saw me the last time.

Very tasty everything, friendly staff. Prices for Föhr and sea view okay! The only negative point: staff without MNS on the way. Since we sat outside and it was like that almost everywhere on Föhr, it was bearable.

We have been coming to the milk bar on our holidays for years. There are very tasty, homemade cakes, pies and waffles. Really big pieces! There are also many different types of tea and good coffee. The bread with scrambled eggs and crabs is unbeatable!

What I remembered here is the extremely friendly way we were treated. We were treated very kindly here. The portions are definitely huge and the food delicious. But I have one point of criticism. The fruit salad wasn't even cut but something "compote-like" out of the can or something. Either we as not Föhrer had the wrong expectation or there is simply no fresh fruit salad on offer. The ratio of cereal to yogurt was kind of weird too. All other things were very tasty and available in abundance. Outside you sit really nice and you are super friendly to dogs. The rating is difficult for me because it fluctuates between 4 and 5 stars, but after our visit I am initially at 4 stars. When we're here again, I'll post an update! : D

The staff is extremely unfriendly and incredibly slow. We only had one tea, but even this was not good, lukewarm water and hardly any tea, but expensive. My path was blocked because an employee without a mask stood in the corridor to chat with an acquaintance and just didn't want to step aside, generally Corona measures are unfortunately rather bad than right.

On my 6th visit to the island, I was in the cafe for the first time - very good selection; the tea and cakes were very good. Despite the stress, the staff was very friendly, the prices were reasonable. I will gladly come again!

Breakfast was great, service was nice - sometimes you have to wait a bit, but this is due to the great demand from the restaurant. I liked the decoration (motorsport). Is absolutely a recommendation. The cream puffs also look good, but we didn't make it.

I was looking for a nice cafe during my rehab in Wyk. After a short while I came across the Cafe "Milchbar". I found what I was looking for. A nice cozy cafe. The staff was friendly and attentive. The stay was always relaxing. The milk bar was my "regular cafe".

Next to Cafe Steigleder, almost right next door, is the place for an opulent breakfast with a sea view! Very nice! Reservation is strongly recommended.

As always great. Currywurst, Labskaus and rice pudding are great. The other dishes look great too. Of course you have to wait for a seat. The toilet was also very clean. Everything you need for corona hygiene is available.

The Nuss-Marzipan cake was very good and the personnel very friendly.

Some things change, thank God. The rice pudding (fresh from 11:00 am) is still awesome. The outside area has been expanded. Very cozy.

I was there with a friend for the first time today. And we got a super and very rich breakfast. With a large selection of teas. It's easy to recommend. Plus the beautiful view of the sea. We will definitely come back.

The quality of the food is very good and the atmosphere is relaxed and very relaxed. Great place to watch the sea and people. Coffee, cake and spirits are offered. Even little things for hunger. The service is nice and friendly. Here even the boss still serves personally.

I love this coffee the best waffles I eat are here, unfortunately this year I had the unpleasant surprise that the quality was not there. The waffle was hard there was not the softness that characterizes it. That's why I remove 1 star. It's a shame.
